few days ago, some girls named heather+aerial suicided by getting hit by a train. heathers boyfriend, steve, brought a knife to school 2 days after they died. Steve then was caught and was "escorted" out of school, but didnt get arrested, tho did get suspended. He told his friend that he was going to bring a gun 2 school (today) and shoot some people, i was like wtf? im not gonna get shot, so i was scared the hell out of the whole day. during lunch, my friend told me that his friend (who is a friend of steve) told my friend(lol weird word phrasing) hes going to come tmrw, and shoot ppl in 6th hour lunch, which is mine :S im so scared, this is not a fake story, it is true, u guys probably saw on the news about the 2 girls. Also steve has a website that has a list of ppl he wants to kill... i dont know yet but ill put it up if i find it...

Okay, well if this is all true you might want to at least report this to someone with authority over this sort of stuff. A few groups come to mind: The police, school administration. Although it sounds like the information you have has come through a few people and there is the chance that it got distorted from person to person (anyone remember the game telephone). Or there is the chance that since your information isn't direct but through a few people that others just won't believe you period. Anyways, you should really try to get to someone in authority quickly about this matter. Stuff like this should always be handled in a serious manner.

the police does know about it, they had SROs guarding the hallways+cafetaria
they cant arrest him tho beccuz they dont have evidence

I would figure they cannot arrest him because they cannot really search him for no good reason. Hopefully, though, they will keep a good enough eye on him and jump if they see anything that smells of probable cause.

on a serious note...if ur that scared by it just dont go into school until it dies down a lil, miss a few days of school or get shot...hmm, its a toughy.

It's NOT that easy to get a gun, and kids do kid talk. Unless you KNOW this kid can get a firearm, tell him to suck a duck, stop being a mincey little wuss and get the HELL over it. This kid should be in moarning, not being a retard thinking he's going to kill everyone.

Report him pronto either way - if he's going to be THAT stupid and say THAT crap, he needs THAT punishment.

They don't have the right to arrest him, but they have the right to hold him and search him whenever the hell they want so long as there's reason to believe he might have something on him (or might be planning something.) Don't worry about it too much though, you're not going to get shot. And if you do, well that sucks. You can give me help on all my work from heaven, I guess. Unless you'd rather try and find out what the hell "If a frog had side pockets he'd carry a handgun" is supposed to mean, that's been puzzling me for a while.

I agree, if he loved her that much I highly doubt she would want him to go about shooting kids at school in her memory. If he had half a brain he would realize he'd be screwed after he did it, rather than do the right thing and respect her passing and move on with his life.

Very few high school juniors/seniors are crazy/stupid enough and have the balls to go into a school and shoot everything up. But if you think he does I'd try not to piss him off until he cools off.

But if you think the threat is serious, you must tell the authorities and let them take him into custody and sort it out.

Think about it this way: If you don't do anything about it and he ends up hurting or killing someone - you will be just as much to blame because you were in a position to act.

If he starts shooting equip your boots of escaping... On a more serious note I'd say make sure that your information is correct and then tell the police so that they have probable cause to search him/hold him etc.

In the Columbine incident, the kids got their guns easily, they walked into a nation-wide wholesailer and bought guns+bullets. Since then, the store doesnt sell guns, but does sell ammo., if this is true (the OP's story) then this kid could've gotten a gun from his friends (druggies or what not [if they are]) and just walked into this wholesailer and bought the ammo.
And if you (the OP) read the book "After" or "Give A Boy A Gun" then you know what you should do.

someone needs to be in a seriously degenerated mental state to actually BRING A GUN to school. kids talk shit a lot, and they never mean it. how many times have people threatened to stab/shoot/strange/kill you?

the suicide is tragic, and it might just be enough to toss someone over the edge. be careful, keep your distance and watch his behavior. watch for any shifty-eyed, nervous or just downright catatonic. these MIGHT be signs of emergent, violent behavior...i.e. filling a school full of bullets.

but then, i'm no psychologist. i've got no idea what these things might be. just watch your ass, but not too long. most attacks come from the front.
